All products purchased from our store are covered by the following limited warranty.How this interacts with our return policy: This warranty covers manufacturing defects for 30 days from the date of purchase. Warranty claims are handled separately from standard returns and are not limited by the 30-day return window in our Refunds & Returns Policy. To file a warranty claim, simply contact us with your order number within the warranty period.
What Is Covered
- Manufacturing defects in frame materials and workmanship
- Defective hinges, screws, or nose pads under normal use
- Lens coating peeling or bubbling within 90 days of purchase
- Frame warping or cracking not caused by customer misuse
Warranty Period
- Frames: 90 days from date of purchase
- Lens coatings: 90 days from date of purchase
- Hinges and hardware: 90 days from date of purchase
What Is Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches on lenses from daily use
- Damage caused by accidents, drops, or impact
- Damage from exposure to extreme heat, chemicals, or solvents
- Damage caused by improper cleaning or storage
- Prescription lenses fitted by us in store (unless defective)
- Products purchased during final sale or clearance events
How to File a Warranty Claim
1. Email us at info@veniceopticald.com with your order number
2. Include photos showing the defect
3. Describe the issue in detail
4. Our team will review your claim within 3 business days
Warranty Resolution
If your claim is approved, we will, at our discretion:
- Repair the defective product at no charge
- Replace the product with the same or equivalent model
- Issue a store credit if the product is no longer available
Return Shipping for Warranty Claims
- For approved warranty claims, Venice Optical will cover return shipping costs
- We will provide a prepaid return shipping label
- Products must be shipped in original packaging when possible
